Youth drop-in and community support
Our Youth Drop-In Centre is a space intentionally created for connection, healing, and belonging. It is a place where youth can walk in exactly as they are and be met with understanding, acceptance, and care.
We recognize that many young people carry the weight of grief, trauma, and life experiences that can feel isolating and overwhelming.
This space exists to gently break that isolation by offering opportunities for youth to connect with peers who understand, share, and support one another in a safe and nurturing environment.
Peer Mentorship
Through peer mentorship, youth are given the opportunity to both receive guidance and become a source of strength for others.
This builds confidence, leadership, and meaningful relationships rooted in lived experience and empathy.
Activity Nights
Our activity nights create moments of joy, creativity, and normalcy. Through games, art, and shared experiences, youth can:
- Engage and connect with others
- Express creativity
- Rediscover a sense of lightness
These evenings provide a safe space where youth can simply be themselves.
Talking Circles
At the heart of our programming are talking circles, a respectful and supportive space where youth can share their voices, stories, and emotions without fear of judgment.
These circles promote healing through listening, reflection, and community, reminding each individual that they are not alone.
Building Connection & Belonging
More than anything, our drop-in centre is about building connection and belonging.
It is a place where friendships are formed, trust is rebuilt, and youth begin to see that healing can happen not just individually, but together.
Our Commitment
We are committed to creating an environment where every young person feels safe, valued, and supported.
A space where they can grow, heal, and step forward with a renewed sense of hope.
